SOC 1
Evaluates the internal controls of a
service organization that are relevant to financial reporting, also known
as Internal Controls over Financial Reporting following AICPA’s SSAE No. 18.
The engagement provides assurance to clients and their auditors that the
service organization manages financial data accurately and securely,
reducing the risk of errors or fraud in their financial statements.
SOC 2
A framework developed by the AICPA to
assess how service organizations manage customer data and operational
controls. Evaluates a service organization’s controls to the relevant Trust
Services Criteria, including security, availability, processing integrity,
