Four Tier Software is a small company who was new to the SOC compliance process a year and a half ago. We initially engaged a large CPA firm who claims to support thousands of clients. However, their processes failed to help a small company like ours to understand the SOC security and compliance framework and process. Ultimately, we had to separate from this initial firm and we spent tens of thousands with little to no return on our investment.

In the midst of our initial failure, we felt very fortunate to have been referred to DES-CPA. They listened to what we needed, tailored an approach for us, and it was extremely refreshing! They took the time to understand where we were starting, what processes we already had in-place, and what gaps we needed to fill. Once the gaps had been identified, DES-CPA gave us guidance on what was expected to gain compliance. They made themselves available for the endless questions from an organization that was just starting to learn SOC processes! Simply being available was HUGE in helping us feel that we were not alone during this daunting process.

I firmly believe that due to the help and expertise of DES-CPA that we were able to overcome our initial failure and to successfully complete our first SOC 2 Type 1 engagement. Additionally, we are now in the midst of completing our SOC 2 Type 2 engagement. We are very grateful for DES-CPA and highly recommend them to anyone who isn't already a pro at SOC compliance!
